Definition of IT Architecture

"Community of Players" & "Collaborative Roles"

Architectural decisions and recommendations in IT should not be made by your Architecture team(s) alone or in isolation from everyday realities. Architectural work must actively demonstrate the effects on all domains. Identifying relevant impacts across all application landscapes and technologies is a critical success factor. The domain owners must understand their role in the architectural analysis. Architects must identify and learn how to collaborate with everyone relevant to the current task, be that a major corporate service (eg; Email, the Cloud, social media, etc.), a departmental program or an individual project.

IT Architects provides a service to identify the “community of players” (includes all stakeholders) and their collaborative roles to lay the proper architecture foundation and support future program/project architecture requirements.
